Originally written and recorded in 2014 for the LP, "Translating the Veil," "Hairpin Trigger" was re-arranged and re-recorded at "Wall to Wall" studios in 2015 for a follow-up acoustic EP. Never seeing the light of day until 2020, "Hairpin" was mixed by Maxwell-Thomas for the EP, "At Last." After joining forces with Troy Cruz, MT decided to nix "At Last" from his catalog and put "Hairpin" on his forthcoming 2023 release, "Drowning in Desire." Featuring a brand new mix that highlights Greg Hartwig's stellar drum performance while adding character and clarity to MT's vocals, this is the definitive way to hear "Hairpin Trigger."
